    Red, I would be pretty happy with that, there a many reasons you use more fuel, heat being the main contributing factor, engine heat, air density, air con working harder, hotter stickier tyres.
    Compared to a car running down south, on better roads, less (longer) corners, cooler air temps, more effecient fuel burning, aircon being used less (doesnt work as often or as long to maintain cabin temps).
    You know how huch better your cars runs on cold mornings.
    By this reckoning, AMC///TAS has some of the fastest cars on AMC (with comparable mods).

    EDIT
    Humidity plays a factor in the air density as well, making it thinner (would you beleive).
